Caring for the brush used with an Aker Fassi clay pot
A brush-based lip-color ritual includes cleaning the brush after use and letting it dry before storage. Choose a small tool you can wash thoroughly rather than one that keeps old product trapped between applications.

Keep the brush and pot as separate care tasks
OASIAC's pot method begins with a lightly damp brush. That does not mean the whole tool should remain damp in a closed pouch afterward. Follow the brush manufacturer's washing directions, remove visible residue and give it an open drying space.
Keep used tools personal. If you are demonstrating the product to someone else, do not pass a used lip brush directly between people or dip an already-used applicator repeatedly into a shared setup. Individual tools make the routine easier to manage.
Product details and directions
A simple end-of-use check
Has visible color been removed from the brush using an appropriate cleaning method?
Is the handle also clean enough to store with other cosmetics?
Can the bristles dry without being crushed in a closed case?
Is the original product stored according to its own packaging directions?
Replace a tool when handling becomes difficult
Loose bristles, a damaged shape or residue you cannot remove are practical reasons to replace an applicator. You do not need an expensive tool, but you do need one whose condition lets you place a small amount of color accurately.
The OASIAC clay pot is a 50 g lip-color format, not a brush-cleaning product. Review its current application instructions alongside the directions for your chosen tool so that both the color step and the cleanup remain straightforward.
